Abraham Anna Staats Family Chronicles ABRAHAM AND ANNA IS EXCELLENT!

Abraham and Anna: The Staats Family Chronicles ABRAHAM AND ANNA IS EXCELLENT! I recently read the marvelous new book calledAbraham and Annaand I thoroughly enjoyed it.The book carries you back to a place and timethat we had all but forgottenbut enjoyed revisiting. The strong characters and high Christian values speak volumesabout the need for strong moral fiber in our everyday lives.
An intimage peak into early American daily life As a historical biography Abraham and Anna provides wonderful details and insights into the lives of Americans during the midtolate seventeen hundreds and reminds us all of a time when Christianity was actively taught in the home everyone went to church and a every day life was colored by a deep sense of community and love for one another. The historical details presented in this book such as Abe Staats furniture making which begins with felling trees that are grown on his own land an encounter with a native American earlyAmerican medicinal practices and many other daytoday activities that today would seem so foreign to us make it a valuable historical resource for children and adults alike. In some ways this book reminded me of the Little House on the Prairie booksalthough instead of centering around the families survival like many of the Little House books did this one centers around the romance of two young people named Abraham and Anna.
An entertaining story of hope and faith Although I believe this book to be intented for young readers it shares an inspirational message that is universal to all readers. The book tells an entertaining story of life and young love in early America. The underlying message however is to trust in God and put our life in His hands for what will be will be. I personally read the book at a very difficult turning point in my life and found the book to be a great source of strength and comfort. I recommend the book for everyone. It's an easy and enjoyable read.
